I don’t know their histories…how they grew up…what made them who they are…I know bits and pieces and secondhand information, but all the core information that I usually get from my characters is just…not there with Never Never…and ya know what? hearts 5 hearts adult ARC review audiobook audiobook review Author Interview Avon Berkley Blog Tour book review Colleen Hoover contemporary cover reveal dark early review erotica excerpt favorites Forever Romance Gallery Books giveaway guest post historical indie Interview Jennifer L. There are things in this world that I will never understand, and that includes: why is this even a serial? The build of this series is fantastic…I couldn’t love it any more if I tried because even with the list of things I don’t know, I’m still feeling the anticipation building naturally and I am quickly becoming addicted to this anticipation. Part 1 was about the mystery, Part 2 was about finding Charlie and as for Part 3, for the most part was heavily centred on the romance aspect – very clichéd and lovey dovey, if you asked me.

It’s like a game to test Charlie and Silas on how well they can work together as strangers and if they are able to fix their relationship. It’s the first time I’ve read anything by either Colleen Hoover or Tarryn Fisher, but I will definitely read more of their work in the future. So that really is all I'm going to say about the content, as this series is pretty much, the most compelling thing, I have read this year. I only trust Silas and Charlie to fix whatever suspenseful, rivalry between their fathers and their own issues. There seems to be some voodoo mischief afoot, but the authors also hint that it could be someone connected to Silas and Charlie’s fathers’ crimes setting them up. I’ll split my time evenly between the two…but I’m almost positive I cannot live without the influence of their brilliance in my world.

I think the biggest problem with this series is that it was forced to be novellas instead of a full book due to one of the author’s contractual stipulation. She won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Romance three years in a row for Confess (2015), It Ends with Us (2016), and Without Merit (2017). Once again the balance of the mystery/suspense with the romance/relationship between Charlie and Silas is perfection! So, while this was a good instalment and I was glad I read it, it didn’t have quite the gut-punching impact of the first book. Never Never is the brain child of New York Times Bestselling authors Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. But if you love a good mystery, and guessing game, with genius writing, and know that underneath it all, is an epic romance, then get this now! That experience eventually became the Never Never series, which released in a three-novella format several years ago. But now, having been educated with her past struggles, I now have a clear vision of her and her character development. How would you feel when you wake up in your car and have no idea who you are, where you are and how you got here in the first place? The letters were a great detail (and the reason why I’m rating it 3,5) and allowed us to see more of them as couple, but there was too much going around and absolutely no explanation (or clues) to why everything was happening.
