Description

The sticks apparently use hall effect sensors, but appear to be fit into the build of your typical ALPS stick, so hopefully down the road these sticks can come to more devices. No matter which game I made a gyro aim template for in Steam, everything drifted up and to the right. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

I'll be holding ZR and pressing other buttons (Jumping, swimming, open the map) then when I let go of ZR it's still being registered as held down. If you go to their Facebook page, they have a video posted of a machine that is putting the controller through physical testing with over 1million movements and its still going strong and accurate.Let’s start with some things that nobody pointed out in all the reviews that I’ve watched and read about this controller. The last part can save you tedium when you’re grinding in a JRPG, but I stopped caring about it and find myself accidentally recording and then later on having to wrestle the controller away from my past self. When placed in your hand, the King Kong Pro 2 is definitely a little lighter than your traditional Pro Controller, but not so light as to feel like a toy. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). The issue with this system is that it involves parts having to grind together, and anything that grinds together has its days numbered the moment its manufactured, as most exemplified by the Nintendo 64 Controller.

Well, you’ll lose Nintendo Switch compatibility for a start (without some dongle trickery, at least), but also the Hall Effect sticks and the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro’s extra turbo and learning modes. Pro controller is a good controller except for the drift problem, xbox controller beats it in reliability but otherwise I like pro controller better.Am very disappointed with Nintendo with the drift problem, on my second set of pro controller and joy cons due to this failure. They are explained in the user manual but having a dedicated app to tune those settings would have enhanced the user experience and the overall user-friendliness of the KingKong 2 Pro. As well as being able to adjust vibration strength (which felt fine to me out of the box, even though it can’t match HD rumble on Switch), the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro has several other big tricks up its sleeve. The back of the controller has a nice textured finish that helps when gripping it, and the top of the analog sticks have a ridged finish that makes it tough for your thumbs to slip off. The Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro Wireless controller is compatible with Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, PC, Android IOS, and MacOS.

Despite the bulky footprint of GuliKit’s controller, the case is a nice addition if you want to throw it into your bag without worrying about damage. It’s also promising to see that GuliKit is keeping with its innovation ethos in this space and I look forward to what they come up with next. The patented sticks are also smooth, and I would say slightly smoother than an Xbox controller like the Nacon Revolution X; but that feeling is minimal, if noticeable at all.

The King Kong Pro 2 has become my choice for travel, and the plastic case is definitely a small part of the decision. The asymmetrical joysticks are also great to use, with embossed rings and a concave center that provides excellent grip and prevents wayward thumbs. Even after multiple reports and class-action lawsuits, the issue persists in first-party manufacturer’s controllers from Nintendo’s Joy-Cons to the Xbox One Elite.

The Nintendo 64 controller used infrared sensors that measured notches inside of a wheel based on the tilt of the stick. Simply hold the gear button and press the button combo you want to program, and then press it again to perform that task. The face buttons are a little mushy and have a hollow, sometimes sticky feel, though the travel itself is decent. The GuliKit King Kong Pro 2 is a perfect choice for a second controller, and with so many extra features, it should be thought of alongside the official competition from Nintendo themselves.
